City of Portland Getting New Domain Name & Email Addresses
February 9, 2010 0 CommentsThe City of Portland has decided to get rid of their previous domain name (ci.portland.or.us) in exchange for a new and more appealing one (portlandoregon.gov). All of the dots and abbreviations made the old domain name quite confusing for users and employees. Within the next two months, all City of Portland employees will have new and more memorable email addresses. Don’t worry if you are not ready to give up the old email addresses because they will still be forwarding all incoming emails to their intended recipients for at least another year.
